Can collecting
and trading information
Help
by the internet.
Can collecting is a hobby,
by
which the internet can be of much help.
Because: There is a lot
of can related information going over the internet.
There are lots of collector clubs in the internet
You can exchange cans, look for cans etc. on the internet.
Which
cans to collect?
As you can see on my "link
lists"
not everybody collects all cans, some only collect Coca Cola cans, some
only beer and some only olympic games cans, etc.
So, if you want to start
collecting, think what you would like, because if you do not have
enough
space to place them, the fun will soon be gone.
How
to store cans?
Because (sun) light
will
effect the paint on the cans it is necessary to always store your cans
in a dark but also dry place. So an unheated cellar is not a good
place,
due to the condensation problems.
Extending
your can collection.
There are various ways of
extending
your collection, like buying in the shops and
drink the contents,
finding
( f.e. on parking places), visiting flea markets and can collectors
fairs
and last but not least
trading.
Trading
cans with other collectors.
This is exchanging by
mail,
of redundants with other traders. The deal often is done through e-mail
correspondence.

Packing
cans
It is of great importance,
that
the cans you send are received in good condition.
So below find an example
of a secure method to pack your cans.

Sending
cans
If you send by surface
mail
(economy) the costs are not too high. The sailing times between North
America
and Europe are about 25 days.
